Between orchard meadows and the slopes below the castle, Kronberg has paths where in spring you see the whole town out walking. It is about twenty-six minutes to us in Usingen. Your pet is cremated exclusively individually.
In Kronberg we do not operate our own pet crematorium.
We will collect your pet on request in Kronberg or you can bring it directly to Usingen – about 26 minutes by car. Cremation takes place there at our own facility.
Attended cremations are currently not possible at any location.

After collection, your pet stays with us throughout – no intermediate stops, no third-party companies.
On arrival in Usingen we already place an ID stone with an individual mark. It accompanies your pet through cooling, cremation and urn preparation – and remains as visible proof in the ashes.
So you can be sure: the ashes you receive belong exclusively to your pet.
Many providers send pets to distant crematoria or work with intermediate storage. That is ruled out at animea. We carry out the full cremation at our own facility in Usingen – under one roof, by people who do their work with heart. Your pet stays in our care. Always.

Can I choose the crematorium myself – even if my vet suggests something else?
Yes. You always have the right to choose a crematorium of your choice. We will also collect your pet directly from the veterinary practice – one call is enough. It is part of good and responsible practice to leave pet owners free choice in this sensitive time. Vets are used to external funeral services coming in – that is entirely normal and handled with respect.
How quickly can my pet be collected?
animea drivers are on the road from 8 am to 6 pm. A later collection always has to be discussed with the team and therefore cannot be guaranteed, but is often still possible. We always come to you as quickly as we can.
How does the ID stone work?
Respectful handling of your animal companion is our top priority. You can rely on receiving exclusively your pet's ashes. For that we use a proven identification system: a fireproof numbered stone with an individual ID accompanies your pet from collection to the urn. That reliably rules out any mix-up – for a farewell in dignity and trust.
When will I receive the urn?
On average cremation takes about 5 working days. At animea cremation is always individual and in chronological order.
